Studeo Content Blocks

How to create and use Content Blocks in your storybooks and presentations

Content Blocks in Studeo are single pages of a storybook or presentation that you can save and quickly add to your other storybooks, saving you time and effort.


Accessing Your Content Blocks

  1. Navigate to All Projects in Studeo.

  2. Click on My Templates to view all your existing templates.

From the My Content Blocks page, you can:

  • Create a new Content Block

  • Edit an existing Content Block

  • Duplicate a Content Block

  • Delete a Content Block


Creating a New Content Block

  1. Click New Content Block.

  2. Select whether it is for a Storybook or Presentation.

  3. Give your new Content Block a name.

  4. Click Create.

Creating or editing a Content Block works the same as in the Studeo design wizard but focuses only on the single page you are working on. You can:

  • Click on text areas to edit them

  • Click Choose Image or Select Type of Media to add images and interactive content

Content Blocks are saved automatically as you edit β€” no manual saving is required.


Editing a Content Block Layout

  1. From the My Content Blocks page, select Edit Content Block on the template you want to modify.

  2. To change the layout, click Switch Layout.

From here, you can change the layout to be for front cover, interior or back cover pages.


Creating a Content Block from an Existing Page

  1. Open the page in your storybook.

  2. Click Edit Template.

  3. Select Save as New Content Block.

  4. Give your Content Block a name and click Save.


Adding a Content Block to a Storybook

  1. In your storybook, click Edit Template.

  2. Select Add Page.

  3. Choose from your saved Content Blocks.

  4. To use a different layout, click Switch Layout and select the Content Block you want.


Content Blocks make it easy to maintain consistent design across your storybooks and presentations while saving time.
