Checking the engagement and interactions by your audience

Updated over 2 years ago

We have a built in system for capturing hits, audience location and devices, along with other information for you to use to guide your design and success with storybooks.

In order to see the info for a storybook, click the "Analytics" link on the left of the home dashboard page. From there, you'll see a grid of all your storybooks published to date. As well, there is the option to grab a more sharing friendly link, one that does not require the viewer to be logged into your account with Studeo.

Within the Analytics reports we have a number of statistics included:

    • You can see how many of those views were from unique viewers

    • You can see how many of those unique users turned pages

    • There is also a total of how many total Page Turn Events take place

    • There are also two charts showing the daily numbers of new users and the page turns

  • Device Statistics

    • A chart showing the number and type of devices that accessed the storybook each day

    • a chart showing the average number of page turns by users on those device types

  • The Geographic Statistics

    • A chart that shows the number of visitors from all cities the users were located in

    • A second chart showing the average number of page turns by users in those cities, organized to show the cities with the top number of users

  • Referral information; This informs you of where your audience is getting to the Storybook from, in a few categories:

    • Direct: People who went directly to that email, through a hyperlink, or just pasting that URL into the browser

    • Email: People who went to that storybook after being redirected/linked from a known (to google) email client

    • Referral: People who went to the storybook from a source (i assume at present) to be an ad, or other paid source/redirect not covered by the other sections.

    • Organic Search: People who found the storybook via Search engine results

    • Organic Social: People who found the storybook through going through social media, coming across an unpaid post of the URL (all social media sources)
