In July of 2023, we here at Studeo updated the design and navigation of Storybooks seen on mobile devices!
If you want to use this new design on any new or updated storybooks, which uses a more mobile-friendly and familiar navigation, without losing out on any of the advantages of the editorial story-based advantages of the Storybook format, head to "Account Settings" and under "Storybook Settings" you'll be able to opt-in to the new format.
The changes from our previous mobile experience include:
Improved distinction between page-spreads: On the desktop view, pages are displayed 2 at a time in clear spreads, to help you separate your stories into easily understood sections.
Multiple Navigation Options: In order to make the storybooks more accessible and more familiar to navigate to more people, we've added a navigation informational pop-up, and allowed for the pages of Storybooks on mobile to be turned with both taps and swipes.
Improved Aesthetic design: We've improved the look and visual feel of the storybooks to be a more sleek, modern and simple to understand design, to help make your content shine through with no distractions.
If you'd like to update your previous storybooks to use this new version, simply head to "Account Settings" and under "Storybook Settings" you'll be able to opt-in to the new format. Then edit any of your storybooks, and on step 3 update the Storybook.
Tip: you can turn your phone sideways to see the tablet version of the Storybook on most devices!
